Linda's career in university advancement spans 30 years and began in alumni relations at The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (now known as the Booth School of Business). She has served in university advancement roles at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management, Wake Forest University School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Three years ago, she moved back to North Carolina from St. Louis where she was associate vice chancellor for alumni engagement, community relations and annual giving at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

A native of North Carolina, Linda is a 1982 graduate of Meredith College where she earned a bachelor of music in organ performance and a bachelor of arts in religion. In 1985, she earned a masters in church music from the Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Linda is a member of the North Carolina Planned Giving Council and also serves as a trustee of the Penland School of Craft in Penland, NC.
